Remedica CEO wins Illustrious Business Worldwide Magazine CEO Award

We are very proud to share with you that Mr Charalambos Pattihis, CEO of Remedica has received worldwide recognition in the 2018 Business Worldwide Magazine CEO Awards. The awards seek to identify and honour the most respected C-level executives across the globe, across a variety of sectors. Rather than focusing on companies, the awards celebrate the skills and attributes of the individuals at their helm; inspiring others to achieve similar successes. Mr Pattihis has won the accolade of Best CEO- Pharmaceutical Industry-Europe.

In the awarding process, Business Worldwide Magazine’s judging panel praised Pattihis’ leadership skills and a clear commitment to alleviating suffering and improving quality of life. His passion for the business is both professional and personal; the company was founded by Pattihis’ father in 1960 and today sells its pharmaceuticals to over 100 countries. Remedica operates from five state-of-the-art factories and specialises in anti-cancer medicines, antibiotics, hormones, HIV/AIDS treatments and drugs that treat conditions of the central nervous and cardiovascular systems.

In addition to being a leading name in pharmaceuticals, the company also makes a significant social contribution through a volunteer project which organises and participates in events within the education and charity sectors.

When asked what the award means to him, Pattihis told our reporter: “For me, it recognises achievements over and above those gained through the work itself and its results. I would like to emphasise that rewarding success, in any form it may take, is necessary in order to achieve active entrepreneurship and calculated risk-taking, otherwise, a company’s growth may be at risk.”

In congratulating Mr Pattihis, the BWM judging panel said they were impressed with his leadership style and a clear commitment to improving quality of life for people all over the world.
