10th Export Award for Remedica

Another award for Remedica Pharmaceutical Company.

Remedica won the Cyprus Export Award for Industrial Products for the 10th time. In a ceremony held on Thursday, 16th of June at the Presidential Palace, the award was received by Dr. Michalis Neoptolemou, Chief Executive Officer of the REMEDICA Group, by the President of the Republic Mr. Nicos Anastasiades.

This year ‘s ceremony had a special anniversary connotation as the institution completes 40 years of life. Remedica’s 10th Industrial Export Award for companies with over 50 employees, rewards its export activity and its growth in new markets once again, while at the same time it confirms that the company’s continuous development is based on its strategic orientation in innovation and extroversion, enabling it to successfully meet the challenges of international competition and international markets. After this 10th award, Remedica is now elligible for the Life-time achievement award.

In his address, the President of the Republic, stressed that in the current adverse conditions, due to the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the contribution of domestic exports to the growth model of the economy acquires even greater value, contributing to economic progress and prosperity of our country. He then added that because of the coordinated actions of businessmen and the Republic of Cyprus, and despite the continuing effects of the pandemic on international trade, the upward trend of Cypriot exports continued in 2021.

Dr. Michalis Neoptolemou, thanked the President Mr. Nicos Anastasiades and the organizers of the event, and stressed that REMEDICA proves its successful business growth and dynamics, both in Cyprus and abroad, year after year. “With the ever-increasing export in our activity and with the expansion of our international collaborations, we have achieved great growth, and this is something that satisfies us and makes us very pleased. At the same time, it pushes us to constantly set higher goals and to continue with consistency and respect to raise the bar in the development of our Group.”

At the ceremony, co-organized by the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, six Cypriot companies were awarded with outstanding export performance in 2020.
