The Cyprus University of Technology Library honours Remedica as a longtime supporter
The Library of the Cyprus University of Technology, in the context of the 10 years of operation of the “Vasilis Michaelides” building, organised an event with a rich program on the 8th of November 2019, which was attended on behalf of the company by Mr Andreas Hadjipanayis, Marketing Manager and National Sales Manager, and Mr Lambros Demetriades, Chief Commercial Officer.
The library was first launched in 2007, with the establishment of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and the introduction of the first students into the university. Since May 2009 the building was named after the national poet Vassilis Michaelides and was housed in the renovated building of the Limassol Old Courts. The mission of the library is to serve primarily the members of the academic community (teaching staff, researchers, and students) providing scientific, educational and cultural information for research purposes. During the event, Mr Marios Zervas, CUT’s Library Director offered Mr Demetriades, an honourary plaque to pay tribute to Remedica as a long-time supporter, expressing special thanks to the company for its constant support. The event’s program included a theatre play written by Vasilis Michaelides’ titled “Chiotissa and performed by the Independent Group of Kolossi “Order of Knights”, and a cartoon exhibition by Mavrogenis. A cocktail reception followed.
