Remedica hosts Scientific Meeting on Heart Failure

All the latest developments in the treatment of heart failure were the focus of a scientific meeting hosted by our company on Saturday, February 24, at our facilities in Limassol.

The scientific meeting was organized by the Cyprus Society of Cardiology, with the full support of Remedica, and under the auspices of the Pancyprian Medical Association.

The keynote speaker at the meeting was Gerasimos Filippatos, Director of the 2nd University Cardiology Clinic at Attikon General Hospital, and Professor of Cardiology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Professor Filippatos addressed the topic: “Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure, from Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction to Advanced Stages.”

The second speaker was Vasilis Barberis, President of the Heart Failure Working Group of the Cyprus Society of Cardiology, who presented a case study.

The meeting concluded with an engaging discussion and exchange of views between the speakers and cardiologists from across Cyprus.
