Financial Support to the Cyprus ADHD Association

Remedica in the context of its CSR activities made a financial contribution to the Cyprus ADHD Association.

The Cyprus ADHD Association organized a charity walk, which passed by Remedica’s premises. The charity walk was initiated by Mr. Alexis Sofokleous, under the auspices of the Commissioner for Volunteer and NGOs, with the aim το raise money for the needs of the Cyprus ADHD Association.

The ADHD Cyprus is a nonprofit organization that started its operations in Cyprus in 2000. Its members include parents, educators, therapists, health professionals, and other professionals who have shown considerable interest in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The organization offers support and information through seminars, lectures, support groups for parents and adults as well as a telephone line.

The ADHD syndrome is a developmental disorder of genetic and neurological etiology, which occurs in infancy, persists over time, and in different environmental conditions. As a result, a kid with ADHD struggles with learning difficulties, anxiety, or depression, as well as in establishing relationships.

Remedica’s HR Manager, Mr. Andros Yiasemi, welcomed all participants of the charity walk at the reception point and handed the company’s contribution to funding the Association’s activities.
