‘Gold Environment Protector Award 2019’ Award Ceremony

We are pleased to inform you that the ‘Gold Environment Protector Award 2019’ was given to Remedica, at an Official Ceremony held at the Presidential Palace on the 24th of January 2020. The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, and the Environment, Mr Costas Kadis, handed the award to Remedica’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Michael Neoptolemou.

The “Gold Environment Protector Award 2019” was presented to Remedica for a second consecutive year in the framework of the Pancyprian Environmental Awards for Organizations and Businesses – EnvAwards organised by the Cyprus Center for Environmental Research and Education with the support of other partners.

These awards aim to honour Cypriot companies that have taken an active role in protecting the environment through the implementation of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme. In particular, this award is given to organisations and businesses that tackle environmental issues as an integral part of their operational policy, establishing practices and actions that protect the environment. In addition, they reduce the consumption of natural resources by adopting appropriate practices, and undertake environmental upgrades of their premises, thereby contributing to the promotion of sustainable development.
Remedica not only recognises but also supports sustainable development through the adoption and promotion of green policies and actions. Environmental protection is a commitment to Remedica, and this award rewards its environmental-friendly policies, environmental awareness-raising, and environmental education.
