Donation of 10 respirators to the Intensive Care Unit

In the context of its effort to provide support to the Cyprus Ministry of Health and the Cypriot state and to address the COVID-19 pandemic, Remedica delivered  10 new respirators to the Cyprus Organization of Public Health Services on Thursday, the 29th of October. The respirators will be placed in the Intensive Care Unit of the Nicosia General Hospital.

The CEO of the Remedica Group, Dr Michael Neoptolemou stated “Remedica supports the country it operates in whenever it is necessary. However, these unprecedented situations require the collaboration of all the competent bodies, so that the help provided is targeted and effective. This is not the first time that our company stood by the State and addressed the needs of the local hospitals as in the past the company donated chloroquine and other medical equipment to the Ministry of Health”

Respirators are currently in high demand worldwide. However, Remedica made sure to provide the hospital equipment to the health care system to strengthen its capacity to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.
