Remedica rides on the coast of Limassol to fight against cancer

Remedica organised the 1st Charity March “Riding for Life” on Saturday, the 24th of October 2020 with the participation of the company’s motorcycle team “RemeRiders” and a great number of volunteer motorcyclists.

The motorcycles filled the whole area with “noise” and it is worth noting that for the first time numerous motorcycling clubs participated in the event to spread an important message: help those in need. The goal of the charity march was twofold, to raise public awareness about the multiple problems faced by cancer patients and to financially support PASYKAF’s charity work.
The march was embraced by all motorcyclists who either participated individually or as a part of groups such as the Harley-Riders Limassol, the Women Motorcycles Club, the Ravens Motorsport Group, the Chopper Club, the Brother Club Cyprus, Titan Bikers and the United Motorcycles Cyprus but also by motorcycle enthusiasts who participated in the event reaching over 350 people and contributing to the realisation of the aims and objectives of the event.

After the end of the march, a small event followed which was attended and addressed by the Commissioner for Volunteerism and Non-Governmental Organizations, Mr Yiannis Giannakis, the Mayor of Limassol, Mr Nicos Nicolaides, the Head of the Cyprus Police Office and Police Captain A’, Mr Marios Agiotis, the Limassol District Manager of PASYKAF, Mrs Maria Botsari, the Chief Executive Officer of the State Health Services Organization of the Limassol – Paphos region, Mr Christos Nikolaou. The purpose of the event was to raise money to support PASYKAF’s activities while Remedica contributed the corresponding amount collected from the contributions.
