The Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry Mr. Natasa Pilides visited Remedica’s HQ

The Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry Mr. Natasa Pilides visited Remedica’s HQ on December 8.

Ms. Pilides had a meeting with the company’s Chief Executive Officer Dr. Michalis Neoptolemou where the sponsorship plan for businesses was discussed, as well as various other issues facing the industrial area.

Other industrialists of Limassol were also present.

After thanking the Minister and the staff of the ministry who attended, Dr. Neoptolemou said that in the last two years the ministry demonstrated serious and noticeable work. After the various meetings and correspondence exchanged, the Ministry did not stop at words but also proceeded with actions, he said.
He pointed out, however, that had the Ministry not proceeded with actions, the future of the economy might have proven disastrous at a later stage.

In her response, the Minister stated that it is a priority of the ministry to support the Cypriot industry, which, as demonstrated by the implementation of the Industrial Policy 2030, has great prospects for empowerment. In this direction, Ms. Pilides added, she is promoting several actions, including sponsorship plans.

In fact, at the meeting, Dr. Neoptolemou and the rest of the industrialists expressed their satisfaction for the positive results that have been achieved in the matters of cleanliness of the industrial area, after the coordinated actions of the Industry and Technology Service and the Municipality.

Finally, the Minister toured the Group’s facilities.
