- Remedica’s 4th manufacturing facility (for potent compounds) received regulatory approval and the pharmaceutical company was presented with its sixth Export Award for Industry.
- The following products were registered: Remeprazole® (Omeprazole), an antiulcer drug, Remidine® (Loratadine), an antihistamine, Gabenil® (Gabapentin), an antiepileptic drug, and Zestaval® (Albendazole), a broad spectrum anthelmintic drug.
- Also, Remedica implemented an ISO14001-compliant Environmental Management system that includes the recycling of glass, plastic, paper and other solid waste or delivery of waste to licensed waste-management companies.
