- Remedica celebrated its 50th Anniversary with many activities that included the printing of a book with the organisation’s history, the casting of a gold-plated coin, a gala dinner for its staff and many social events as well as contributions to non-profit organisations.
- A fitting addition to these celebrations was being granted the Best Industry Award by IMH’s In Business Awards.
- Furthermore, that year Remedica signed the Climate Change Charter which aims to reduce mankind’s impact on the environment and passed another routine inspection by UNICEF.
- In addition, the following pharmaceutical products were registered: Carvidex® (Carvedilol), a beta blocking agent, Zovar® (Simvastatin), a lipid regulator, Riveron® (Risperidone), an antipsychotic drug, Losar® (Losartan), an antihypertensive drug, Losar Plus® (Losartan + Hydrochlorothiazide), an antihypertensive, diuretic drug, Fungifex® (Terbinafine), an antifungal for systemic use, and Atorstan® (Atorvastatin), a serum lipid reducing agent.
